For homes, the PM Surya Ghar subsidy is credited back by DBT after inspection. You fund the balance.
Indicative split often works out around 60% you / 20% subsidy / 20% on completion. Confirmed at survey.
Bank loan
Low-interest rooftop-solar loans typically cover 80–90% of the cost, so you start saving with a small down payment.
